Separate sources report that Borussia Mönchengladbach are interested in a pair of German central defenders.
the expected departure of Nico Elvedi - are presently interested in former German youth international Feliz Uduokhai of FC Augsburg. The 25-year-old reportedly recently turned down a contract extension with his Bavarian club and is looking to transfer out.

Uduokhai has recently seen his career for club and country derailed by injury, but is still regarded as a top defensive prospect. The native Bavarian has even been linked with Serie A Champions SSC Napoli. The former 1860 München academ- man maintains an estimated market worth of €8.5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.

Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, meanwhile, reports that the foals are looking in a different direction. Former Hertha academy man Jordan Torunarigha - another famous former German youth international who now represents Nigeria - has been able to revive his career somewhat since permanently moving to KAA Gent last summer.

Torunarigha scored three goals and registered two assists in the Jupiler Pro League last year. The Chemnitz-native's estimated market worth currently lies at €5 million, potentially rendering him a much more economical option. Whether or not Torunarigha wishes to return to his native country - where he has encountered fan-abuse - remains to be seen.
