Bayern talent Kabadayi receives professional contract and Schalke loan-out

FC Bayern München confirmed a professional contract and a loan-out to FC Schalke 04 for campus product Yusuf Kabadayi on Thursday afternoon. 
FC Bayern II attacker Yusuf Kabadayi - recently promoted from the Bayern U19s - has received a professional contract with the Bayern senior squad. The German record champions confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the 19-year-old had signed a new two-year-deal that will enable him to draw a professional salary.

The teenage talent will nevertheless spend the first of these two seasons in the German second division. Kabadayi's loan-out to recently demoted 2. Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 was confirmed at the same time. Kabadayi scored nine goals and registered two assists in the Bayern Regionalliga last year.

"Yusi Kabadayi is a true homegrown," FCB campus director Jochen Sauer noted in a club statement, "He was born in Munich and has been playing for us for eleven years. Yusi is fast and a strong finisher, and now he is to take his first steps in professional soccer at Schalke. We will follow his development there very closely and wish him all the best."

"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge here at Schalke," the attacker is quoted as saying on the S04 website, "During the talks, the people in charge gave me a very good idea of how I can contribute to a successful season. Now I want to fight together with the team to achieve our goals."
