Kalajdzic's agent confirms Bundesliga sides are interested in loan deal

The agent representing former VfB Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic has confirmed that he's received interest from top-tier German sides over a potential loan for his client in the coming transfer window.
Towering Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic's career trajectory has not unfolded as the 26-year-old might have hoped since heading to the Isle to join Wolves 18 months ago. The former VfB Stuttgart forward suffered a harrowing ACL tear in his debut for his EPL side in September of 2022. Now back in action for Wolverhampton, the Vienna-native has scored two goals in 10 relief appearances (and one start) for the West-midlands-based club.

Rumors began emerging in Germany's main sporting tabloid earlier this week that some German top-tier-sides - much as was the case with Burnley bust Wout Weghorst - are interested in bringing Kalajdzic back to a familiar league in which he once thrived. "Sport Bild" reported that Eintracht Frankfurt were an interested party, though such a move seems unlikely given the SGE's other pending signing.

In any event, when speaking to "Sport Bild", Kalajdzic's agent has confirmed that he's received interest from Bundesliga sides over a loan-deal for the second half of the current campaign. Sports advisor Sascha Empacher - while not addressing other specific rumors involving league giants Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München - did note that his client was "fit and eager" to move to a club at which he can secure playing time.
