Amid all of the exit rumors swirling around under-utilized U.S. international Giovanni Reyna, France's "L'Équipe" reports that Borussia Dortmund have a targeted replacement for Reyna's roster slot in mind. Eighteen-year-old midfield talent Désiré Doué of Rennes may be headed to die Schwarzgelben. The French youth international's parent club could be interested in loaning him out in order to help facilitate more playing time.

Doué has made 55 appearances for the Rennes senior side and even scored six goals. He nevertheless averages only 40 minutes per deployment amid the competitive situation in Brittany. The youngster remains highly regarded in French footballing circles and maintains a current estimated market worth of €15 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. An outright purchase seems unlikely and there is competition from larger sides.

No major German footballing media sources presently confirm the L'Équipe report. The same holds true for another rumor reported in the French sporting journal. L'Équipe nevertheless claims that Eintracht Frankfurt are currently in "advanced negotiations" with Angers for the eventual purchase of 18-year-old left-rail attacker Jean-Mattéo Bahoya. The youngster maintains a more modest €3.5 million estimated market worth.

Bahoya - who has also excelled in a centralized attacking midfield role - has racked up seven scorer points (five goals and two assists) in 32 appearances for his club's senior side. As is commonplace under the SGE administrative regime of chief personnel executive Markus Krösche, it might be the case that Bahoya is signed ahead of next season in the same way that (for example) Randal Kolo Muani was.

L'Équipe notes that Eintracht are still endeavoring to sign PSG attacking talent Hugo Ekitiké and Uruguayan forward Luciano Rodriguez of Liverpool Montevideo as well. Which prospects Krösche and his front office team shall prioritize and ultimately land very much remains up-in-the-air. Ekitiké (€15 million) and Rodriguez (€4.5 million) by no means constitute small purchases.
