RB Leipzig boss Markus Krösche insists there has been no approach for Timo Werner

RB Leipzig haven't received any inquiries for Timo Werner at this point, says sporting director Markus Krösche.
Timo Werner has been linked with a summer transfer, with Liverpool said to be among the main suitors for the German international.

However, at this point, there have been no inquiries for the 23-year-old, claims RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche.

"There has been nothing at all. But it's normal that Timo gets into the focus of other clubs. He's playing a very, very good season and scores very, very often," Krösche told Bild.

"Timo has a long-term contract, and there aren't many things that favor him leaving us. We play in the Champions League, we have a great coaching team and want to achieve a lot," he continued.

According to reports, Werner will be available for around €60 million in the summer thanks to a clause.
