Timo Werner has been linked with a summer transfer, with Liverpool said to be among the main suitors for the German international.

However, at this point, there have been no inquiries for the 23-year-old, claims RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche.

"There has been nothing at all. But it's normal that Timo gets into the focus of other clubs. He's playing a very, very good season and scores very, very often," Krösche told Bild.

"Timo has a long-term contract, and there aren't many things that favor him leaving us. We play in the Champions League, we have a great coaching team and want to achieve a lot," he continued.

According to reports, Werner will be available for around €60 million in the summer thanks to a clause.
