Report: Dortmund make approach for Milot Rashica

Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica has reportedly been approached by Borussia Dortmund about a possible summer transfer.
Borussia Dortmund have made contact with Milot Rashica over a potential summer move, according to Der Spiegel.

However, 'Die Schwarzgelben' could face plenty of competition for the 23-year-old. Rashica has recently been linked with a move to Napoli, and Der Spiegel claims that Wolverhampton, West Ham, Aston Villa and Liverpool are monitoring him as well.

Rashica's agent, Altin Lala, told Sport1:

"Before the corona crisis, we were in contact with a number of clubs - including from the Bundesliga. But at the moment, everything is at a standstill.

"I'm sure that soon, when things get a little more normal once again, there will be some movement in this regard, and then something will surely happen. It's clear that Milot will be concentrating entirely on the task of staying in the league with Werder Bremen until the end of the season."

Due to the huge financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, it seems unlikely that any club will be willing to meet the €38 million release clause in Rashica's contract, so he might leave the club for a smaller fee.

Rashica, who can play as a winger as in a central offensive position, has made 24 appearances for Werder this season, racking up 10 goals and five assists. His contract runs until 2022.
