RB Leipzig have opened talks with Sparta Prague over Adam Hlozek, according to Sky Germany.

Capable of playing on either wing or as a secondary striker, the 17-year-old has been identified as a possible replacement for Timo Werner, who will be leaving RB Leipzig to join Chelsea in July.

However, 'Die Roten Bullen' could face competition for Hlozek's signature. Sky claims that Chelsea, of all clubs, have inquired about the youngster while Arsenal and Bayern München are understood to be keeping tabs on him.

At the age of just 17, the Czech under-21 international has made 54 appearances for Sparta Prague with 10 goals and 12 assists to his name. His contract runs until 2022.

Werder Bremen's Milot Rashica and RB Salzburg's Hee-Chan Hwang have also been touted as possible replacements for Werner at RB Leipzig.
