Dan-Axel Zagadou says he doesn't see any reason to leave Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Asked if he has been approached by BVB sporting director Michael Zorc about the possibility of extending his contract, which expires in 2022, Zagadou told WAZ:

"He hasn't talked to me about it yet. But I feel comfortable in Dortmund, I have no reason to find a new club. I still have a long-term contract, so I'm taking it all easy."

The 21-year-old has played for Dortmund since 2017, when he made the switch to Germany from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

Zagadou played a total of 22 games in the 2019/20 season. A knee injury kept him out of most of Dortmund's games after the Bundesliga returned from its coronavirus-enforced hibernation.
