The judgment? The club may absolutely proceed with plans to allow 4,500 fans through the turnstiles on Saturday!
In the precise words of the relevant public health officials:

"After examination of the extended hygiene concept of 1. FC Union Berlin, the application conforms to the infection protection ordinance passed by the Berlin Senate. The October 24th, 2020 match may take place with fans."

Germany's smaller capital club gained gained a substantial victory on Thursday. The organization's ambitious plans to bring large cohorts of fans back into its venue may continue. Thursday's ruling will surely have ramifications for football across the Bundesrepublik.

The Köpenick club remains by far the most successful German footballing body in terms of executing limited entry hygiene concepts. In order proceed with plans to allow fans into the Stadion an der alten Försterei for the fourth time this season, the club had to add an obligatory mask requirement to its concept.
