Borussia Mönchengladbach have completed the signing of Kouadio 'Manu' Koné from Toulouse FC.

The 19-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract with Gladbach until 2025, but will spend the rest of the season on loan at Toulouse.

"Kouadio Koné is a really interesting player, who we have been following for some time now for the French youth national teams and his club FC Toulouse," said Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl.

"He is a huge talent who has been monitored by top clubs from across Europe. We're delighted that he has chosen to join Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Bundesliga," he added.

Koné has made 18 Ligue 2 appearances for Toulouse this season, scoring once.
