Britain's Daily Express that RB Leipzig are among the clubs courting West Bromwich Albion attacking midfielder Matheus Pereira.

Though the EPL top-four side Leicester City are thought to be the leading candidates to snatch Pereira up from relegated West From, the 25-year-old might be persuaded to return to the country where he had his breakout campaign.
Since scoring three goals on loan for the eventually relegated 1. FC Nürnberg during the 2018/19 campaign, Brazilian prospect Matheus Fellipe Costa Pereira has gone on to thrive in the English midlands. Pereira scored 8 goals in WBA's EFL Championship campaign last year and knocked in another 10 tallies in the Premiership this season.

With Pereira's prowess in front of goal unable to save the Baggies from relegation this season, several club are reportedly contacted Albion about a possible transfer. According to article appearing late Wednesday on the UK's Daily Express Sport website, Leicester, Leeds, and Leipzig are said to be interested.

The former Sporting CP product has a value of €13 million according to the latest transfermarkt listings, but the report suggests that WBA may by seeking upwards of €30-35 million for Pereira's services. Leipzig, still flush with cash from the Timo Werner transfer and possibly even more liquid should they opt to sell Marcel Sabitzer, can perhaps afford to overpay for attacking midfield reinforcements.

Pereira was nominated for the Bundesliga rookie of the season award during his year spent playing for Nürnberg in the Bundesrepublik.
