FC Augsburg defender Kevin Danso is reportedly trying to force through a move to French side RC Lens.

According to Sky, Lens have made a concrete offer for the 22-year-old, who has now informed Augsburg that he wants to leave and that he no longer wants to train or play for the club.

As a result of this, Danso was told to leave Augsburg's training camp with immediate effect.

It has been reported that Augsburg previously turned down an offer from Greuther Fürth, who wanted to take the defender on loan.

Danso spent last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, scoring two goals in 33 appearances.
