Reliable confirmation from German media sources isn't available yet, but one of Ecuador's top television journalists reports that a deal to bring the country's most valuable domestic footballer to Gladbach is done.

Center back William Joel Pacho Tenorio is apparently on his way to Europe. This is if a report from Sebastian Machado from DirectTV Ecuador is to believed. Some information regarding a potential purchase of the 19-year-old, who does not have a Westernized moniker yet, began to surface on German footballing magazine Kicker's website on Friday evening. In a short report linking the defender with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Kicker referred to the player as "William Pacho".

According to the Ecuadorian source, Pacho will sign a four-year-deal in the coming days. The teenager's current market value is €2.5 million, making him the most valuable player in the Ecuadorian Serie A. Any deal to bring the youngster to Europe would obviously combine a base transfer fee with a re-sale clause in order to reach a sum close to the estimated.

Pacho's stock has been rising after multiple starting appearances in the Copa Libertadores.
