Report: Leverkusen agree personal terms with Zenit striker

Bayer Leverkusen are edging closer to the signing of Sardar Azmoun from Zenit St. Petersburg.



According to Sport1, the Bundesliga outfit have agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old forward and are close to concluding a deal worth €14 million plus bonuses with Zenit.

The 26-year-old Iranian international has made a total of 85 appearances in a Zenit shirt, scoring 54 goals.

He made the switch to Zenit from Rubin Kazan in 2019 and has one year left on his contract.
