Borussia Dortmund turned down several offers for Ansgar Knauff on deadline day, according to Sport1.

The German media outlet claims that two Bundesliga outfits and multiple 2. Bundesliga clubs, including Hamburger SV, wanted to take the 19-year-old winger on loan.

Knauff, however, apparently wanted to stay at Borussia Dortmund, partly because 'Die Schwarzgelben' didn't manage to bring in a winger before the transfer window closed.

The 19-year-old made seven appearances for Dortmund's senior side last season, scoring a goal and making an assist.

Since Marco Rose took over as coach in the summer, he has played for the reserves, featuring four times in the third division so far this season.
