Hertha BSC coach Pal Dardai caused a stir when he offered his resignation following his side's 5-0 defat to Bayern München last week.

Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic has now criticized the controversial interview and underlined that Dardai will stay on as coach.

"The statements weren't good. Something like that is not acceptable," Bobic said in an interview with Bild and continued:

"Pal showed a short spell of weakness. His outburst did not help Hertha. We have talked about it, and Pal has regretted his statements.

"We're not looking for a coach. We all want to give all we can for Hertha together."
