Bayer Leverkusen has officially extended the contract of Germany U-19 international Montrell Culbreath.

The attacking midfielder and right winger signed a contract with the Bundesliga club that runs until June 30, 2030.

Culbreath has been with the Werkself's youth teams since 2023. Last December, he scored his first Bundesliga goal against RB Leipzig.

"We are delighted with this agreement with Montrell Culbreath. He has developed exceptionally well in our youth teams over the past few years.

"He has also demonstrated his potential in numerous training sessions with the first team," explained Bayer's sporting director Simon Rolfes.

Kim Falkenberg, Bayer 04's Director of Football, also touched on the great potential of the skillful and fast attacking player:

“Montrell is currently one of the top performers in our U-19 team. We believe he can successfully continue his predetermined path into the professional squad. And, as a homegrown talent, become a Bayer 04 player of the future.”
