Ermedin Demirovic is moving from FC Augsburg to VfB Stuttgart.

The Swabians confirmed the signing of the striker on Tuesday, announcing that he has signed a contract until 2028.

"Ermedin Demirovic has proven his special quality for several years now. He is one of the top strikers in the Bundesliga. Ermedin is just as impressive as a goal scorer as he is as a player," said Stuttgart director of sport Fabian Wohlgemuth.

“His experience and mentality make him an absolute asset to our team. We are delighted that Ermedin will be wearing the VfB jersey from now on and welcome him to VfB.”

Demirovic said he's "thrilled" to be joining Stuttgart.

“I can hardly wait to get started. I became a fan of this team after the game [against Augsburg] in Stuttgart [last season]. I like the way they play and the team. I know some of the guys, so it probably won't take me too long to settle in.”

The 26-year-old is coming off his most productive season in the Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals and laying on 10 assists for Augsburg.
