Official: Leipzig sign Atletico Madrid midfielder

Arthur Vermeeren has been officially unveiled as an RB Leipzig player.
The Bundesliga outfit confirmed on Monday that the 19-year-old has joined the club on loan with a purchase obligation that will be take effect once the 19-year-old central midfielder has played a certain amount of games.
“We are delighted that such a highly talented young player has chosen RB Leipzig, a player that has aroused the interest of many clubs in the past and now,” said RB Leipzig managing director for sport Marcel Schäfer.
“The club has followed Arthur's impressive path closely in recent years: he made his professional debut in Belgium at the age of just 17, then immediately took on a leading role in Royal Antwerp's midfield and played a decisive role in his club's cup, championship and Supercup wins.”
