Werder Bremen have confirmed Le Havre’s youngster Kenny Quetant will join the club on a free transfer. The 19-year-old striker is the first signing by them for the 2026-27 season. The Paris-born player came through the academy of Le Havre before making his first-team debut in December.

“We’re really pleased that Kenny (Quetant), a young and highly talented player with real potential, has chosen to join Werder Bremen,” said Werder’s head of professional football, Peter Niemeyer.

Daniel Thioune also welcomed the news as he looks forward to working with the Frenchman. “Kenny is a well-rounded, technically gifted striker with plenty of pace. He has an exciting profile and gives us another attacking option for the future.” said the coach.

The player also commented on his move after putting pen to paper on a long-term deal. “Werder are a really interesting club, and I’m excited for my time in Bremen. I want to be successful with the team and get as much playing time as possible. I’m also looking forward to playing at the Weserstadion.” said the 1.89m striker.

Quetant scored in his first home Ligue 1 game when Le Havre beat Angers at the start of 2026. He has made a total of 10 appearances for the club, but his last appearance came in mid-March for the club yet to secure their league status for next season.
