Jonathan Tah looks set to leave Bayer Leverkusen as a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires. But where will he go?

Barcelona have long been touted as the frontrunners for the German international's signature.

According to Spanish media, the player and the club have reached an agreement in principle, but Barcelona's financial problems have put the transfer in jeopardy.

Barcelona-based publication Mundo Deportivo now reports that Liverpool and Tottenham are monitoring the situation and could make a move for the defender.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich, who came close to signing Tah last summer, appear to be out of the running.

Tah has been playing for Leverkusen since 2015. He has made 40 appearances for the club this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
