BVB trainer Nuri Sahin has already ruled central defender Niklas Süle out for this weekend's encounter. Speaking at his Friday pre-match-presser, Sahin even went so far as to suggest that the 29-year-old will not be available until after the November international break. Two reliable German footballing sources are currently reporting that Süle has a a partial syndesmosis tear in his ankle.

According to Sky Germany and Sport Bild, Süle's expected downtime is four to six weeks; significantly longer that Sahin suggested. The former German national team defender hasn't featured as a starter in the league since match-day four. Süle did play the full 90 minutes in Tuesday's Champions' League loss to Madrid.
