With VfB Stuttgart inevitably preparing for the potential departure of Finn Jeltsch, the club is considering potential replacements.

One of them is reportedly named as Panagiotis Retsos, who Greek website 'Sportime.gr' lists as a target for the Swabian club.

Retsos is under contract until 2028, but the Bundesliga would not be unfamiliar territory for the 37-time Greek international.

As recently as 2017, Retsos completed a transfer to fellow German topflight side Bayer Leverkusen from Olympiacos for €17million.

After 43 appearances and several loan spells, he moved to Italian outfit Hellas Verona in 2022 before returning to Olympiacos.

With Jeltsch's agent reportedly in contact with FC Barcelona and Inter Milan, a transfer fee of €50 to €60million is already being discussed.

Meanwhile all three of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Arsenal are also said to be interested in the 20-year-old centre-half.
