For some time now, VfB Stuttgart have been working on signing Augsburg's Ermedin Demirovic and Brighton & Hove Albion's Deniz Undav, who spent last season on loan at the MHPArena.

However, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to sign either or both of them, so it makes sense for the club to look at alternatives as they look to bolster their attacking options.

According to Sky Germany, FC Copenhagen's Orri Oskarsson is one player Stuttgart are monitoring as an alternative.

The report claims that the 19-year-old striker, who has a contract with FC Copenhagen until 2027, has been informed of the interest.

Oskarsson has scored 16 goals and laid on eight assists in 50 appearances for FC Copenhagen.

Stuttgart have lost several key players following their impressive second-place finish in the Bundesliga last season.

Hiroki Ito has joined Bayern Munich, while captain Waldemar Anton has moved to Borussia Dortmund, with Serhou Guirassy expected to follow soon.
