Two Bundesliga clubs among reported suitors for Birmingham forward Marvin Ducksch

Could Marvin Ducksch return to Germany just a year after leaving Werder Bremen for Birmingham City?

According to Bild, two unnamed Bundesliga clubs inquired during the winter about the possibility of signing Ducksch, either on loan or permanently. 

A move was not an option at the time, but interest could be reignited this summer.

AEK Athens and Real Sociedad are also reported to have expressed interest in the 32-year-old, while the American MLS is said to be another potential destination.

Since his move to Birmingham last summer, Ducksch has scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for the English Championship side.
