Wolfsburg hijack Eintracht's move for Greek defender, reports Kicker

VfL Wolfsburg have apparently beaten Eintracht Frankfurt to the signing of Konstantinos Koulierakis from PAOK FC.

After Eintracht Frankfurt sold Willian Pacho to Paris Saint-Germain, it was reported that the club had identified PAOK FC's Konstantinos Koulierakis as their desired replacement.

However, it now appears that the 20-year-old centre-back is heading to Wolfsburg instead.

According to Kicker, Die Wölfe have hijacked Frankfurt's move for Koulierakis and are now close to finalizing a deal to sign the defender.

Wolfsburg are said to have made an offer of €15 million including bonuses and have presented the player with an attractive sporting plan.

The Greece international has featured a total of 72 times for PAOK, racking up nine goals and four assists.
