There had been speculation about whether Michael Olise’s contract with Bayern Munich includes a release clause.

However, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl has now made it clear once and for all that it does not.

“The contract is valid until June 2029, there is no release clause, and Olise is on his way to becoming one of the best players in the world,” Eberl told 11 Freunde.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace on a contract until 2029 for a reported €53 million in the summer of 2024.

Since then, the Frenchman has amassed 26 goals and 29 assists in 66 appearances across all competitions.
