FC Bayern Munich have, according to Kicker.de, reportedly added Finn Dahmen to their list of potential goalkeeper reinforcements
A bid could be made for the FC Augsburg shot-stopper next summer should Manuel Neuer actually retire at the end of the season.
With several indicators suggesting that the veteran will end his career in June 2027, Bayern want to be prepared for the future.
According to reports, the Bavarian club's management is considering Dahmen as an option for the role of experienced backup.
However, no concrete talks have yet taken place between the two parties. His current contract with FC Augsburg expires in June 2027.
Bayern Munich is not the only Bundesliga club interested in him. RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart are also reportedly monitoring the 28-year-old.
Ultimately, Augsburg's management has not yet received any official offers for Finn Dahmen, nor are they concerned about him forcing an exit.
As for Bayern, they wants to wait for Neuer's final decision which is expected to be made between November and December 2026.
