Dortmund verging on submitting fresh €55m bid for Köln's Said El Mala

The Rhurpott giants are making a third and improved bid for the 19-year-old winger who they feel could revolutionize their attack.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly on the verge of submitting an eye-watering €55 million offer for 1.FC Köln's Said El Mala.

As Sky Germany confirmed this evening, Tuesday 11 August, an official offer is yet to arrive at Köln for the time being.

BVB are fully intent on shattering their transfer record, with the €55million bid comprised of €50million up front and €5million in bonuses.

The 19-year-old sensation has already agreed personal terms with Dortmund and is now waiting for the final decision.

Another inevitable approach from the Westphalians would be their third attempt to sign El Mala after their first two bids failed. 

Last season, El Mala produced an impressive return of 13 goals alongside 3 assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances for Effzeh.
