With Manchester City facing the consequences of 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial rules, it has been suggested that the club could even be relegated as punishment.

Should that happen, many of the Premier League giants' star players, including Erling Haaland, could find themselves on the move.

Bayern Munich were linked with the Norwegian international before he joined Borussia Dortmund and later moved to Manchester City.

However, according to the German champions' CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen, there's no interest in reviving their pursuit of the striker at the moment.

“We have Harry Kane, the best striker in the world, and an attacking line-up that is second to none in Europe. So this is not a question we even need to consider,” Dreesen told Die Welt.

Asked whether Bayern could even afford Haaland given his lucrative contract at Manchester City, Dreesen responded:

“We have shown that we can sign players from the Premier League, not only with Harry Kane, but also with Luis Díaz and Michael Olise. We have a wonderful team with a mix of players that we are very happy with.”
