At the age of just 17, German U19 international Floyd Samba has broken into Manchester City’s senior squad, making two appearances so far this season.
After scoring twice on his debut in a 5-0 EFL Cup victory over Norwich City, the youngster made his Champions League debut in midweek, featuring up front as Erling Haaland was given a rest.
With competition for his preferred central midfield role coming from high-profile names such as Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Enzo Fernández, Sky Germany now reports that a loan move in January is being considered.
Several clubs are already said to be interested in the youngster, and a move to Germany could potentially emerge as an option.
The son of former Republic of the Congo international Christopher Samba and a German mother, the 17-year-old was born in Macclesfield and represented England at U15, U16 and U17 level before switching allegiance to Germany.
