German media deny Zidane to Bayern report
Sky Germany and Bild have played down a report from Spain suggesting that Bayern are close to reaching an agreement with Zinedine Zidane.
Following the news that Julian Nagelsmann has extended his contract as Germany coach instead of returning to Bayern, a report from Spain suggests that the Bavarians are close to agreeing a deal to make Zinedine Zidane their new coach.
However, both Sky Germany and Bild have since denied this, insisting that Bayern and Zidane aren't close to an agreement.
According to Sky Germany, Zidane is not even on Bayern's list at this stage, with the report claiming that the club only learned of Nagelsmann's rejection today, Friday.
Meanwhile, Kicker reports that Zidane is being discussed as an option along with Unai Emery and Ralf Rangnick.
