Reports: Bayern and West Ham reach agreement on €15.5 million Mazraoui transfer

German transfer guru Florian Plettenberg reports that German record champions Bayern München and West Ham United have finalized the details of a deal to send fullback Noussair Mazraoui to the Isle.

Online sports journal "The Athletic" and Germany's Kicker Magazine both confirm the report. The sources reporting on the deal do note that Manchester United nevertheless remain in the running for the player.

West Ham United's interest in Moroccan fullback Noussair Mazraoui has evidently led to agreement on a transfer. Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg reports that Bayern are prepared to sell the 26-year-old to the London-based club for a base-transfer-fee of €15.5 million. An additional €4 million can flow into the FCB coffers if certain performance-based incentives are met.

It may take some time for the transfer to be officially finalized as, Plettenberg notes, there are still some important financial details to be clarified. Manchester United have not necessarily given up their pursuit of the right-back. The English Red Devils may yet submit their own bid for the 28-times-capped international. Online sports journal "the Athletic" confirms the details of Plettenberg's report.

Mazraoui remains without much sporting prospects with the German record champions. The Bavarians have tied down Leverkusen loanee Josip Stanisic to a long term deal and are also expected to give Sasha Body a look at the right-back position. Assuming that he stays with the club, Joshua Kimmich can also play at right-back. Mazraoui threatens to slip to fourth on the FCB depth chart should he remain.
