Will Harry Kane be fit for Euro 2024?

Harry Kane is struggling with a back problem ahead of Euro 2024. Will the Bayern forward be fit to play for England at the tournament in Germany?

After a back injury kept Harry Kane out of Bayern Munich's last two games of the season, questions have been raised as to whether the England captain will be fit for Euro 2024.

According to both Sky Germany and Bild, the 30-year-old is expected to be fit for the tournament, with the former going as far as to say that his participation is not in danger.

Speaking ahead of Bayern's final Bundesliga game of the season against Hoffenheim, head coach Thomas Tuchel said Kane's back problem had worsened.

Kane has left Munich and is currently being treated by his own doctor for the back problem that forced him off during Bayern's 2-1 Champions League semi-final defeat to Real Madrid.

“Harry Kane is being treated by his personal doctor. He can't travel with us. It was already questionable in Madrid. It's gotten worse,” Tuchel said.

Nevertheless, all indications are that Kane will be fit in time for the Euros.

England's first game at Euro 2008 will be against Serbia on 16 June. They face Bosnia (3 June) and Iceland (6 June) in warm-up matches before the tournament.
