As reported by Sky Germany, those in charge at Hamburger SV are discussing a possible signing of Sebastian Kehl.

The sporting director of Borussia Dortmund is still under contract at the Westphalians until 2027, but his position there is not untouchable.

There has been no contact from Hamburg yet, but besides Kehl, the Hanseatic team is also considering other well-known names.

HSV are desperately assessing their options to fill the void of Stefan Kuntz who was surprisingly dismissed two weeks ago.

Now, Kuntz is having to defend himself against allegations of sexual harassment – an allegation which he strongly denies.

Several reports suggest Oliver Bierhoff (without a club), Fabian Wohlgemuth (VfB Stuttgart) and Jonas Boldt (without a club) are also candidates.
