Having been awarded with the 2026 Golden Shoe as European club football's top scorer, Harry Kane was extremely happy with his achievements.
"I want to thank FC Bayern, the staff, the coaches, and my teammates – without them, I wouldn't be standing here. A lot of work goes into an award like this.
"I try to help the team in the best way possible. Last season was outstanding, and I'm very proud. It was the best season of my career so far.
“I feel very comfortable at FC Bayern and with the team. We're always aiming for big things, and we want to do that again this season,” he said at the award ceremony.
After discussing the high-scoring nature of German football, the English marksman went to to discuss his style and how he contributes to Vincent Kompany's team.
“I feel very comfortable in all positions; the older you get, the more parts of the pitch you learn. Last year this understanding was even better; the coach allows me to drop back to build up play, but then to push forward again.
“The coach expects a lot from everyone, with and without the ball; the team is very special, and I love winning a tackle just as much as scoring a goal,” he added.
