Enzo Millot has been heavily linked with a summer move away from VfB Stuttgart, with reports suggesting he has a release clause of around 20 million in his contract.

Speaking to L'Equipe, the Frenchman admits that he would like to take the next step - but he doesn't know whether it will be in the summer or at a later point.

"A departure? Yes, of course, it's a goal I've set myself. To be able to take a step forward," said Millot.

“I have a contract until 2028, it's a club that develops young players well. I feel comfortable there. It wouldn't be a failure at all to stay.”

The 22-year-old has scored eight goals and laid on seven assists in 37 appearances for Stuttgart this season.
