Multiple sources: Bremen prepare to bring Köhn back to German football

Multiple German footballing media sources are currently reporting that SV Werder Bremen are set to sign former FC Bayern München Campus product Derrick Köhn.

Linked with German top flight football for quite some time, it now appears as if former Bayern München prospect Derrick Köhn will be finally given his chance. Sky Germany, Kicker Magazine, and SV Werder Bremen's "Deichstübe" website now all report that Bremen will bring the 25-year-old in on loan from his Turkish club Galatasaray.

Köhn moved to Turkey last February after one-and-a-half seasons in the German second division with Hannover 96. The left-rail specialist made 53 competitive appearances for the Lower Saxon club. Prior to that, he represented the Bayern reserves 78 times in the lower division. He has recently pumped his estimated market worth up to a career-high €9 million.

Bremen already have two qualified left-wingbacks in the form of Olivier Deman and Felix Agul. The latter netted his second career Bundesliga goal against Augsburg last weekend and received special praise from SV trainer Ole Werner. It appears as if the Hanseaten - despite Agu's strong start - still feel the need to add more competition at the position.
