Official: Hoffenheim confirm departures of Adamyan and Brenet

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim confirmed late Monday that they did indeed get Sargis Adamyan's loan deal over the line.

Dutch fullback Joshua Brenet also departs Kraichgau on deadline day.
Tying up the last remaining loose ends from transfer deadline day, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim confirmed that Armenian striker Sargis Adamyan's rumored loan deal to Club Brugge was indeed completed. The 28-year-old made just two league starts this season. He scored one goal on opening day against Augsburg off the bench.

Adamyan, along with loaned out striker Mijat Gacinovic, had far fewer prospects for the Sinsheimers this season behind the fine play of Ihlas Bebou and Munus Dabbur, along with the emergent French striker Georginio Rutter. Both Adamyan and Gacinovic are due back in Kraichgau at the end of the season.

Hoffenheim also confirmed that Joshua Brenet--a 27-year-old Dutch fullback who had not featured at all this season--would return to his native Holland after three-and-a-half seasons with the German Bundesliga club. Brenet heads to FC Twente on a free. He was purchased by Hoffenheim for €3.5 million in 2018.
