Baumgart felt Köln deserved more from Hoffenheim game
Speaking after his side's 0-1 defeat against Hoffenheim, FC Köln coach Steffem Baumgart said he felt a draw would have been a more fair result.
FC Köln coach Steffen Baumgart thought his side deserved to take something from tonight's 0-1 defeat against Hoffenheim.
"It was a very intense game from both teams," Baumgart told reporters after the game and added:
"We didn't do everything right today, but I don't think it wouldn't have been undeserved if we'd take a point from the match."
The Köln coach had praise for Julian Chabot, who made his first appearance for the club, deputizing for Timo Hübers.
"'Jeff' had a good game today. He was good in the tackle and worked well with 'Kili'. We know how much quality Hoffenheim have and he battled well against that. We can be happy and it shows that we have depth at centre-back," he said.
