Report: Goncalo Paciencia nearing move to Celta Vigo
Per Spanish news site La Voz de Galicia, the forward is close to joining the La Liga side and a permanent farewell.
Entering the final year of his contract, Goncalo Paciencia is on the verge of heading to Celta Vigo in the Spanish first division. The 28-year-old striker joined Frankfurt from Porto in 2018 and spent the last 4 seasons in Germany, including a season on loan at Schalke. Paciencia's best year came in 2019/20 where he scored 7 goals and 4 assists during Bundesliga action.
This potential transfer comes to no surprise, as Paciencia has fallen out of favor in Eintracht's rotation. Knee injuries have been a cause for concern in his career, but Paciencia will look to rekindle some magic if this permanent transfer goes through.
