Terzic provides team update ahead of Dortmund's clash with Mainz

Edin Terzic has given an update on his squad for tomorrow's match against Mainz.
Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has given a personnel update ahead of Wednesday's Bundesliga clash with Mainz.

"Meunier and Morey are not available. Jude Bellingham is out due to his fifth yellow card. Emre Can is back in training. Marco Reus has not been able to train for ten days but is expected to be in today, we'll have to see," the BVB coach told reporters.

After making his long-awaited comeback from the bench in Sunday's 4-3 win over Augsburg, Sebastien Haller will be raring to go again. When the striker will be ready to start is unclear, but Terzic is pleased with his development.

"We are looking at Seb from day to day, but he is feeling more and more comfortable. We will see when he is ready for the starting eleven. Nevertheless, he will certainly play an important role against Mainz," said Terzic.

The Dortmund coach also gave a bit of insight into the competition between Nico Schlotterbeck, Mats Hummels and Niklas Süle at the centre of defence.

"We are very happy to be in this situation. Nico and Mats did a tad better in the preparation games and that's why they started against Augsburg. Niklas has shown a really good reaction and trained really well. That's exactly what we want," noted Terzic.
