      Every six months, Kicker releases a ranking of the best players in the Bundesliga as well as the best German players abroad, dividing them into four categories: 'World Class', 'International Class', 'In the Wider Circle' and 'Field of Vision'.

      Today, the German sports magazine has released their evaluation of the Bundesliga's best full-backs and defensive midfielders based on their performances in the first half of the 2018/19 season.

      According to Kicker's evaluation, Bayern München's Joshua Kimmich has been the best full-back while Borussia Dortmund's Axel Witsel tops the list of defensive midfielders.
