Hoffenheim's Nordtveit on his way to Fulham?

Fulham are reportedly in talks to sign Håvard Nordtveit from Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim's Håvard Nordtveit could join Fulham before the transfer window closes, TV2.no understands.

According to the Norwegian news outlet, the two clubs are currently in talks over a transfer and hope to strike a deal before the transfer window slams shut.

The Norwegian centre-back, who can also play as a right-back and as a defensive midfielder, has made 11 appearances for Hoffenheim this season.

Nordtveit left Norway to sign for Arsenal in 2007. He then moved to Germany to join Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2011.

The 28-year-old then returned to the Premier League when he signed for West Ham in 2016. But after just one season at the London club, he made the move back to Germany as he signed a deal with Hoffenheim in 2017.
