Three candidates named as possible replacements for Flick

Sport Bild reports that Julian Nagelsmann, Oliver Glasner and Matthias Sammer are being considered as possible replacements for under-pressure Germany coach Hansi Flick.
Germany's upcoming matches against Japan and France could be Hansi Flick's last chance to prove he is the right man for the job.

According to Sport Bild, Julian Nagelsmann, Oliver Glasner and Matthias Sammer have already been identified by the German Football Association as possible replacements for Flick.

Pressure is mounting on Flick after the draw with Ukraine and losses to Poland and Colombia in June, and Sport Bild reports that the former Bayern Munich coach is likely to be relieved of his duties if Germany don't show improvement in the coming matches.

"I can understand that after the elimination in the preliminary round and the last games such a discussion is coming up," Germany's sporting director Rudi Völler admitted in an interview with Sport Bild.

"As a national coach you have to be able to put that behind you. Hansi is a fighter and he knows that now is the time. I am convinced that we will produce two really good performances," added the 63-year-old.

Germany have won just four of their last 16 matches under Flick.
