Injury-hit Bayern ease past Preußen Münster

Bayern Munich are through to the second round of the DFB-Pokal after a 4-0 victory over Preußen Münster this evening.
Despite having to deal with several injuries, Bayern Munich lived up to the favorite tag in tonight's DFB-Pokal first round match against 3. Liga side Preussen Münster, winning 4-0 on the road.

With Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt and Kim Min-jae all injured, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel was left with no fit centre-backs and opted to start Leon Goretzka and Noussair Mazraoui in the heart of defense.

After starting and scoring against Bochum on Saturday, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was given another chance in the starting line-up and repaid the faith shown in him with the opener after nine minutes.

Bayern added two more goals before the break through Konrad Laimer and youngster Frans Krätzig, who came on after Serge Gnabry picked up an injury.

Towards the end of the game, Mathys Tel made it 4-0 for the German champions.
