Report: Bynoe-Gittens signed new Dortmund deal despite interest from English trio

Bild reports that Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United all expressed interest in Jamie Bynoe-Gittens before Borussia Dortmund extended his contract.
Last week, Borussia Dortmund announced that they had signed Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to a contract extension until the summer of 2028.

According to Bild, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United were all very interested in the 19-year-old, but by tying the youngster down to a new deal, BVB effectively fended off their interest for the time being.

Dortmund signed Bynoe-Gittens on a free transfer from Manchester City's youth team in September 2020.

Since then, he has made 29 appearances for the Black and Yellows, scoring three times and providing one assist.

He has featured five times so far this season.
