Premier League return not an option for wantaway Werner, per report

A January move could be on the cards for Timo Werner, but not to an English club, according to Sport Bild.
Speculation surrounding Timo Werner's future at RB Leipzig is intensifying ahead of the January transfer window.

According to Sport Bild, the 27-year-old wants more playing time ahead of the European Championship and the club would not stand in his way should they receive a satisfactory offer.

However, Werner's €10 million-a-year wages could prove to be a stumbling block, as could the fact that a return to the English Premier League is not an option for the former Chelsea striker, according to the report.

Aside from English clubs, Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt have also been linked with the forward.

Werner has scored two goals and provided an assist in 13 matches for Leipzig this season.
