Getafe boss confirms interest in Leipzig's Moriba

Getafe CF President Ángel Torres (quoted via "Marca") has now publicly confirmed reports suggesting that the Spanish first division side are looking to take problem child Ilaix Moriba off RB Leipzig's hands.
There has been some movement in the case of RB Leipzig transfer bust Iliax Moriba. The 20-year-old has still logged only negligible minutes for his German club since joining the German Red Bulls some two-and-a-half years ago. It's no secret that Leipzig wish to rid themselves of the Spanish/Guinean international, but have had difficulty finding takers for him since he returned from a second loan stint with Valencia FC.

FC Getafe President Ángel Torres (quoted via "Marca") has now confirmed talks with the Saxons over procuring Moriba during the coming January transfer window. The Spanish club boss specifically stated that Leipzig offered the player up to the La Liga side, and further noted that his club is keen to re-unite him with former Valencia head-coach Pepe Bordalás.

In his public comments on the matter, Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schröder has hinted that the Bundesliga side is hoping to arrange another loan deal. Moriba remains under contract with Leipzig through 2026. Presumably, any loan deal will have to see both side's come to an agreement over how to share the midfielder's salary burden.
